Holistic Psychotherapy

Have you ever had one of those days where you really needed to talk to someone… and have them fully hear you?

Did you run through a list of names in your mind, trying to decide who to call?

Did the mental conversation go something like:

“I could call ____... but they wouldn’t understand.  Or, I could call ____ but they don’t have time to listen.  Or, how about ____?  No, they can’t know that about me…”

Most everyone has had one of those days, and oftentimes the people who are already in our lives (partners, friends, family…) aren’t able to be of best help in those moments when we need a bit more than the day-to-day listening ear.  As a holistic psychotherapist at Wayne Family Wellness, I am whole-heartedly committed to being there for you, by providing:

  • A safe space to be exactly as you are- tears, fears, and “shortcomings” included
  • A relationship where you can say whatever you need to say, without being judged, hushed, or shamed
  • A place where curious exploration is fostered through thoughtful dialogue and deep listening
  • A professional relationship through which traumas can be healed, and the well-being of your body, mind, and relationships restored

No one should have to suffer alone… I’d love to know you and walk alongside you on your journey towards wholeness.  Whether or not you’ve decided that holistic psychotherapy is right for you at this time, I’d very much enjoy meeting you.  Schedule a free consultation today, and let’s get to know one another.

Love,

Jenni Kay

3 Kinds of  Psychotherapy Sessions to Choose From:

Individual Holistic Psychotherapy Sessions

A place where you can be exactly as you are right now and learn how to create the life that you want to live.  When the going gets tough and our suffering seems endless, sometimes we need someone on our team who will walk with us on our journey towards wholeness.  As a member of your team, I will offer you a place to be heard and heal, by integrating psychodynamic theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and yoga.  This is a place where tears are welcome and joy becomes possible!

Partner Therapy

A supportive, safe space where difficult conversations can be had and wounds can be healed.  This is a place where you can work together to decide what sort of future you'd like to have, create a plan to get there, and learn how to support and communicate with each other along the way.  Couples and partners of all backgrounds and orientations are welcome.

Family Therapy

A space where family members can come together and be supported as they work together to heal old wounds; learn to communicate in mutually respectful and supportive ways; and create healthy connection.

*Crisis Support

No matter which option you choose, Jenni Kay offers crisis support during those moments when life gets especially overwhelming and difficult.  If you determine that you are in crisis, you can give her a call for a brief phone session.  If you need additional emergency support, she will connect you with helpful resources.

Please note: This resource is not a 24-hour crisis line and Jenni Kay is not always available.  Please leave a voice message and she will return your call as soon as possible.  During your initial session, Jenni Kay will give you alternative numbers to call in case you are in crisis and are unable to reach her.

*Support via Email

In your initial session, Jenni Kay will suggest that you start or continue keeping a journal.  You are welcome to share your journal entries with Jenni Kay as often as is helpful.  While she will not respond to your journal entries via email, she will read them and bring up the content during your in-person therapy sessions.
